The objective of the Conference is to explore emerging opportunities for investing in the Caribbean and discuss opportunities and challenges to sustainable and profitable partnerships.  The Conference brings together program managers, policy makers with the private sector to engage in open and frank exchange.  The program will begin with an overview of the current economic environment, including a look at the implications of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).   The dialogue will include a discussion on emerging opportunities in the region in social infrastructure such as water, solid waste, telecommunications and housing.  The Conference also provide a platform for the discussion of issues in the energy sector, including e.g. opportunities in oil & gas, and renewable energy.  Finally the Conference will provide an update on access to financing for deals in the Caribbean.
