Dr. Claire Nelson, ICS Founder and President on Global Town Hall on African Diaspora

at the Frasernet 6th Annual PowerNetworking Conference in Atlanta on Thursday, June 28th. In her remarks, she cited that the Vision of a Africa ReImagined as a Land of Potential and Providence as opposed to a Land of Poverty and Powerlessness was necessary for the diaspora to collectively move forward in helping to create a 21st Century Africa of desire; and that as Co-Chair of Policy for the African American Unity Caucus, she was committing to spreading the word of "Africa ReImagined". Sharing the stage were other notables such as Dr. Maluana Karenga, Founder of Kwaanza; Businesswoman, Dr. Gloria Herndon; Dr. Ron Daniels and President of the Paramount Chiefs Council of Ghana. Mel Foote, CEO of Constituency for Africa was the Moderator.
