Under the patronage of Congresswoman Yvette Clark (D-NY), the Institute of Caribbean Studies (ICS) is proud to announce the 9th Annual Caribbean American Legislative Forum to be held on Monday, June 18, 2007. The goal of the Forum is to continue to explore legislative and policy issues of importance to the Caribbean American community with the goal of affecting policy that considers our perspective. No Child Left Behind and The Dream Act are just two of the Bills in Congress that impact on our wellbeing and doing well.
Please join us in the Rayburn House Office Building 2150, June 18th 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. as we discuss legislative issues such as health, education, immigration, transnational crime, economic development and trade.
