IDB HOSTS CARIBBEAN AMERICAN BUSINESS BRIEFING

With support and advice from ICS, the InterAmerican Development Bank organized a special half-day Seminar on Business Opportunities in the Caribbean. The Event was organized by the IDB as one of the two events it supported for Caribbean American Heritage Month. The Speakers included representatives from USAID; the World Bank, as well as the Washington DC District government, the Minority Business Development Agency and the IDB. Mr. Dumas Simeus,
CEO of Simeus Foods International the largest Black owned meat packing company in America and a former ICS Caribbean American Heritage Awards Honoree was the Keynote Speaker. Members of the Steering Committee of the Caribbean American Business Council were also in attendance and used the opportunity to further detail the mission and vision of the Council. The event, the first of its type attracted over 150 attendees.
